• An incredibly dense population crammed into a relatively small area earned the Press its distinctive nickname. Supported economically by Tacticell Pharmaceuticals, the Press is divided into five major districts: The Mall, Uptown, Port-town, The Eastside, and Floodtown. Tacticell upholds the governing policies of the Global Union but chooses to enforce no local government or code, leaving the residents of the press to govern themselves. As a result the Press is a haven both to gang activity and illegal testing and distribution of technology. One of the few regions to remain lawless this long after the formation of the Global Union, the Press is home to several gangs whose influence extends into many other cities around the globe. Food for the area comes mostly from Tacticell's greenhouse wing and off-shore Fisheries, power is provided by Tacticell via their private orbital power station. Any other utilities are run by the residents themselves.
